Dr. Mohammad Asim is a Research Coordinator with the Trauma Surgery Section, Hamad General Hospital. He received his post-graduation degree in Biotechnology from Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) in India and completed his Ph.D (Biosciences) from Maulana Azad Medical College in collaboration with JMI, New Delhi, India. He has previously worked for the Department of Medicine, Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi as a Research Scientist on an ad hoc research project for one year. In 2012, he joined the Trauma Surgery Section at Hamad General Hospital as a Research Coordinator.
Dr. Asim is involved in a number of research activities which include writing literature reviews, journal articles and research proposals, using statistical software and other methods to gather, analyze and interpret research data to drive useful information for research studies. He regularly participates in initiating prospective research studies and clinical trials.
